From his perspective, he thought that he was conveying useful information to President Trump and the administration about what was important to the Chinese. He didn't care one way or the other whether or not what they were requesting came about. LUSKIN: He wasn't under the control or direction of the Chinese, and he wasn't trying to influence policy. ROBERT LUSKIN: And so for him to sign a piece of paper that says I was an agent of the Chinese is something that is - it is wrong, and it is personally abhorrent to him to sign such a statement. DOJ sued Wynn, demanding he register as a foreign agent. ![]() The Chinese wanted Trump to cancel the visa of a businessman who sought political asylum here at a time when Wynn was trying to protect his casinos in Macao, a part of China. To hear the Justice Department tell it, Wynn was acting at the behest of the Chinese government. Wynn reached out to Trump's secretary, the president's chief of staff and Trump himself, calling from a yacht off the coast of Italy. He made the cut at Medinah in 1999 and tied for 68th. This will mark Zabriski's sixth appearance at the PGA Championship. He escalated his practice preparations last week. When Zabriski hasn't been with his family this summer, he has been busy overseeing Trump International's preparations for hosting the LPGA's Tyco/ADT Tour Championship in November. ![]() Hospitalized since birth, Clara was recently cleared to join her family at their Jupiter home. She'll require two more surgeries over the next two years. When she was just three days old, Clara underwent open-heart surgery. Clara was born with a serious heart condition. His wife, Sarah, gave birth to their third child, Clara, on July 9, but there were complications. Zabriski isn't sure how sharp his game is going to be heading to the PGA Championship. "Bruce is a guy you definitely want as your partner," Trump said. "He goes on to say, 'I'm going to build the greatest golf courses in the world, and you're going to be my pro."'Īs a 9-handicapper, Trump loves to play. "He says, 'You're the guy winning all those tournaments,"' Zabriski recalled.
